Welcome to the Mississippi Office of Surplus Property. The information supplied will get you acquainted with our mission, programs, and procedures in saving state and local government, nonprofit organizations, and ultimately the taxpayer millions of dollars every year. The Mississippi Office of Surplus Property was organized in March of 1946, with the authority to acquire surplus goods from the Federal Government. Once property has been declared as excess to the needs of the Federal Government, the highest and best utilization of that property is by public and private organizations of the State of Mississippi who are dedicated to the education, training, health, civil protection, safety, administration, and other public benefits of our taxpayers.

The Mississippi Office of Surplus Property will be closed on March 22, 2010 until April 2, 2010, due to Federal Inventory and inventory control conversion. We will resume regular operating hours on April 5, 2010.

PLEASE NOTE: The Eligibility Update Application, Eligibility Application, and Law Enforcement Data Sheet may be filled in online. Upon completion, print and mail the signed forms to the Office of Surplus Property.

EVERYONE MUST INCLUDE THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR FUTURE NOTICES OF NEW PROPERTY
